Widgets

The following fields are common to all widget types:

• Name: internal name of the widget (not displayed on the site)
• Type: this will add additional fields depending on the type chosen. See widget types for more information.
• Layer: this will affect what pages the widget will appear on. See the layers help page for more information.
• Zone: what location the widget will appear e.g. header, left sidebar, footer etc. See how to reorder widgets here
• Template: this affects the style of the widget, such as its colour, font size etc.
• CSS Class: Not often used, but allows for a custom style to be applied to a widget.
• Show Header: whether or not to show header text above the widget.
• Header: the title text to show above the widget if 'Show Header' is chosen.
• Is Active: allows you to toggle the widget on or off.
• Start and End Dates: allows you to control when this widget will be active.
